New Modern Offices for

Avant-Garde Home

Its with great pleasure that I announce to all of you that our new offices are just about completed and ready to use. We will be having a grand opening sometime mid September and opening up bigger space for showroom purposes before the end of the year. I have compiled some pictures for all of you to see the wonderful work Jessica Hale and I have done in remodeling these offices.. I want all of you to know that every straight line and cut is Jessica as I have no patience for those things and sometimes she re-did the things I had already done since they did not meet her standard of excellence.. In the end I think we did a good job.. Let me know what you all think...

The outside sitting areas and bamboo gardens are absolutely beautiful and will be a great place to host marketing and promo events for the company.. Excellent place that will look better and better over time..

Today while reading up on some home designs I ran accross two homes I simply had to share with all of you. The one in Vilnius is absolutely amazing as is the cabin design I found. I am sure many of you will enjoy these pictures tremendously..

Cabin House

Stunning Cabin Lopez Island in Washington State

Here are the Contemporary Cabin House Design: Cabin Lopez Island in Washington State. This contemporary cabin house design by Stuart Silk Architects. The concrete block walls and floor also serve as a thermal mass, regulating the interior temperature by storing daytime heat and releasing it at night. Above the block walls, three sides of clerestory windows combine with floor to ceiling glazing to flood the interior spaces with daylight and reduce energy costs associated with artificial lighting. Birch veneer plywood ceiling panels accentuate the lightness of the roof plane as it soars above the living space. Located on a wooded bluff above Puget Sound, the Lopez Island Cabin re-imagines a traditional retreat in contemporary materials and form. As with most true cabins, there are few rooms: a living area/kitchen, two modest bedrooms and two small bathrooms. The project utilizes simple materials and an efficient plan to create a striking, sculptural form.

Here are the Modern Transparent House in Pavilniai Regional Park in Vilnius, Lithuania design by Architectural Bureau G.Natkevicius & Partners . On the ground floor there are living room, kitchen, dining room and a wardrobe. Glass form is not an end to itself. From each point on the ground floor area on a 360 degrees offers fantastic views of regional park. Ground floor space is like a yard of a historical lodge. The Modern Transparent House with library of a collection of ancient books equipped in the basement of historical lodge. On the ground floor- childrens bedrooms and in the attic- masterbedrooms. At the glass shape zone in the basment we can find the turkish bath with a rest rooms and a garage for two cars. Miami: A city full of glamour, excitement, and very modern contemporary

Miami:

As I show friends of mine that are in town the sites and sounds of Miami, I can';t stop thinking how much this city has grown in the past 10 years.. From a downtown that no one dared venture out at night, a Biscayne Blvd, Miami's downtown main artery stretching from Brickell to Miami Shores, so full of drug pushers and prostitutes no one traveled on this road, and crime so elevated, people always talked about this city in a negative crime infested waste.

Fast forward ten years and what do we have now.. A downtown full of residenial developments that is thriving with an entertainment districk, restaurant districts in Bayside, Brickell Village, and the city nightlife section, the city has a new arena, stadium, and Performing arts center, all of Biscayne Blvd has been completely remodeled and has sprung various entertainment areas, the Miami Design district has been revitalized int an arty community, and the cities future looks bright as ever with more and more development and business moving back from the areas they had abandoned long ago.. 

With change a new wave of young hip people have moved in and all buildings being build and most houses being built are being built in the modern contemporary style, giving Miami a new facelift and also making it the showplace for many of the new designs in both architecture and interior design in the modern contemporary style of design. 

Yesterday while riding in my car, I stopped and took a few pictures for al of you to enjoy of the sites and sounds of Miami, Miami Beach, and the Downtown. I hope all of you enjoy these fantastic pictures of what I believe to be one of the most modern cities in the United States, one that full of fashion, style, and is at the forefront of current and upcoming trends, a city that changes with the times and flows with the attitudes of the day.
