Having an office in your room doesn't require a lot of room...
For those of you that think creating an office in your room would take all the space in the world and of course space is something you don't have.. take a look at these pictures from my bedroom.. I put together a mini office that I can use at night when I just want to be left alone.. Its little but don't let it fool you.. Its fully equipped with a Mac Book Pro 2010 edition, double computer screen, and mac book air for using in bed.. It encompasses an area no bigger then 72" X 50 and is comfortable, fully equipped, and can run any application any large office is capable of. OH, it also serves as entertainment thanks to the apple software front row.

2 Apple back up Time Machine Capsules
1 Internet connection (highspeed vios or u-verse works best)
1 AT&T U-Verse Cable box (below printer) - We have to watch TV... Its a must
1 Lexmark Pinacle pro 9012 photoshop printer, fax, and scanner combo
1 20 X 40 desk
1 Plastic storage bin
2 Storage ottomans (chairs and storage in one)
1 Wall filing organizer
