Beauty comes in unexpected places....

Sometimes the nicest things
hide the unexpected

I saw this in an article I was reading and just had to share. Its a trash compost that also is not only modern, contemporary, but a very nice piece to look at and use as home decor, instantly transforming any room into a futuristic looking, like something you would see on Star Trek or one of those type shows. Don't believe me just read the following post.

Eva:
the indoor green alternative to
traditional compost heaps

Our homes dispose of a huge amount of organic waste, old foods which could easily be recycled by ourselves. Eva is a green and exciting eco-friendly alternative to traditional compost heap methods, designed by innovative French product designer Francois Hurtaud, who lives in Shanghai.

Eva is a self-contained biosphere homefarm system, which not only allows you to cultivate vegetables but also produces fresh air and light. It is designed to be quickly assembled and maintained, making it mobile and easy to set up anywhere.

One part of the waste is recycled to grow food and the other part produces methane, which is then transformed into energy, thanks to the co-generator. Once this energy is obtained it then produces light which stimulates the growth of the plants.

The water, as it enters the container, is naturally filtered. The whole process can be viewed in the diagrams below, and the interior settings show how stylish and modern they look in contemporary interiors, giving a futuristic aspect to room.

As I said, sometimes we find beauty in unexpected places...Please see pictures below
